The first Saturday of the month is free kids workshop day at Home Depot. In May, keiki will build and paint their own little windmill with a pot for planting flowers or herbs. Kids can make it onsite or take it home. All attendees also receive a free apron, certificate of achievement and pin, while supplies last. Home Depot has locations in:
- Iwilei, 420 Alakawa St.
- Kapolei, 4600 Kapolei Parkway
- Pearl City, 1021 Kamehameha Highway
The next Kids Workshop on June 2 will be making a vintage-style wood car.
