Sunset Mele on the Rooftop
The Hawaii Convention Center is hosting its first Sunset Mele on the Rooftop of the year. Bring your blankets and pillows and lie out on astroturf in a ballroom to watch Moana on a big screen. Arrive early and purchase dinner from the I Love Teriyaki food booth, which will be selling chicken and beef bentos, saimin, kalua pig and lemonade. There will be live entertainment from Kimo Alama Keaulana & Lei Hulu and a stand selling Moana merchandise.

Family Fun Day: Kites
The Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor is hosting a kite-building workshop for children of all ages. Keiki can get into the spirit by listening to stories The Emperor and the Kite and Stuck read to them under the wings of an aircraft. Then, they’ll get to craft their own kites out of plastic, origami and thread. Kite specialists will be on hand to help keiki construct and fly their creations. The event is free with purchase of a museum ticket and families can pre-register until the morning of the event.
$15 kamaaina and military adults, $8 kamaaina and military children, $25 adult general admission, $12 child general admission.

Support local mom entrepreneurs, receive discounts and take part in free keiki activities at this Kakaako event. Kids can make free crafts from the Art Explorium, receive balloon animals and meet princesses and a mermaid. There will even be an interactive light saber demonstration at noon on Sunday. Photos with the Easter Bunny, Moana and Maui
Hop into the spirit of spring by visiting the Easter Bunny at Kahala Mall. Moana and Maui will also be making a special appearance between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The first 100 people to buy a photo package on Saturday will receive a read-along Moana CD storybook. Keiki can also make crafts with the Art Explorium between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and receive free glitter tattoos and balloon animals.
