2012 Honolulu City Lights

Christmas lights illuminate Honolulu for the kick off of 2012 Honolulu City Lights.
SCHEDULE:
4 p.m. - Food and souvenir booths, keiki rides open at Honolulu Hale.
5 p.m. - Music concert begins at Kawaiahao Church (across the street from Honolulu Hale).
6 p.m. - Tree lighting ceremony at Honolulu Hale. The electric light parade runs from Aala Park to King Street.
6:30 p.m. - Mayor Peter Carlisle lights the 50-foot city Christmas tree, kicking off illumination of lights on trees and buildings from the Civic Center to Chinatown. Wreath contest exhibit in Lane Gallery and Honolulu Hale Courtyard decorated tree display opens.
7:30 - 10 p.m. - A holiday concert at Sky Gate stars PAC Kids and Company, Frank Delima, Ballet Hawaii, Melveen Leed and Anuhea. Free photos with Santa at the Mission Memorial Auditorium until 9 p.m. Parade vehicles park on King Street in front of the Mission Memorial building.
