6th Annual Pumpkin Carving Festival

More than 2,000 parents and kids will be carving their pumpkins at this festival. There will be arts and crafts for kids, a Windward Mall scavenger hunt for the "grass slippa" and door prizes. Starting at 11 a.m., high school teams will compete in the Meadow Gold Dairies KULA Carving Youth Challenge, themed "Hawaii Sports Legends." Students will be given two hours to carve five pumpkins and create a display showcasing their sports legend. Cash and prize awards will be given for Best Overall, Best Carving Technique, Most Innovative, Best Team Spirit, People's Choice and 76 Hawaii School Pride.
