Ceramic Orchid Pots Workshop

In this workshop students will learn just how easy it is to grow orchids! Each student will learn about orchids as well as the fundamentals of ceramics, then use their knowledge and imaginations to sculpt their own unique orchid pots. After sculpting, they'll decorate their pots using underglaze. Pieces will be collected, fired, and returned at a later date with live orchids inside. Art instructor Garid Chapman is a ceramics artist who specializes in making creatures inspired by biology and animation.
