Community Wide Clean-Up And Graffiti Paint-Out

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS One week before the 2011 APEC Conference, the community will be volunteering to clean up the streets and paint over the graffiti near the Hawaii Convention Center and adjoining streets. Please join us as we each help to make Honolulu look its finest.Painting supplies and refreshments provided.We will meet at 3 locations -- Kuhio Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, and Ala Wai Community Park at 8:00am sharp, and then we will disburse to the targeted areas. There is no difference in which location you choose.This event is a partnership between the T.A.G. Team and HPD's Project C.L.E.A.N.About T.A.G.: T.A.G. (Totally Against Graffiti) Team is a partnership of residents, business, schools, non-profit groups, and law enforcement agencies committed to eradicating graffiti from neighborhoods.About Project C.L.E.A.N.:Project C.L.E.A.N. is an initiative created by Chief Louis Kealoha that brings community organizations together to enrich neighborhoods by painting out graffiti, removing trash and bulky items, and building partnerships.For more info, contact: Marilyn from T.A.G. at 944-4656 or marinhi@aol.com.
