Daytime Sun Viewing Activity at Kapolei Public Library
Learn a little about how the Sun works, and then view the sun through specially filtered binoculars and telescopes. See sunspots, filaments and flares (if there any during the viewing time). Staff from the University of Hawai‘i Institute for Astronomy (IfA) will be conducting this 45-minute program which is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Viewing equipment will be provided.
