Find Your Zen Workshop

The class will open with some relaxing music and yoga poses. From there, young artists will learn the art of zen doodling to create beautiful patterns using repetitious shapes and lines. We'll construct personalized zentangle journals to store our art in. Following our zen theme, we will then take marbles and let them flow to create abstract marble paintings. To finish our class, young artists will design kindness tokens out of sea shells to share with their family and friends. Artist teacher Stephanie Yanik is an elementary school art educator with the Department of Education.
