Flower Power Mother’s Day Workshop

Make art while making a memory on this special day. Young artists will be creating mod podge flowerpots with beautiful, personalized fingerprint flowers.  Students will learn the process of mod podge and design their  own flowerpots.  We will paint and form pretty, unique flowers  to put into our pots and transform rice in a surprising way.  We will finish the day by creating flower inspired Mother's Day cards and custom bookmarks to go along with our gifts.  Guest artist Stephanie Yanik is an elementary school art educator with the Department of Education.
