Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is coming to several public libraries on Saturday, May 7, 2016! Just show your valid HSPLS card at any participating branch and receive a free comic book of your choice while supplies last. This is the 15th anniversary of HSPLS' participation in this annual all-ages event. Comic book selections this year include Avengers, Captain America, Pokemon, Grumpy Cat, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake, and much more! Selections vary by branch.

Don't forget to bring your camera! Costumed characters from the Pacific Outpost of the 501st Imperial Legion, Rebel Legion Hawaii, and Costumers Guild of Hawaii will be appearing at select libraries. For more information, contact a participating library.
