Join the celebration of everything Greek at this annual festival at Ala Moana Beach Park. The event was postponed from August because of Hurricane Lane, so will be held in October this year. Singers, dancers and musicians will perform live along with the Aloha Youth Choir from Saints Constantine and Helen Green Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific.
10 vendors will offer snacks including Greek coffee, salads and dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves), souvlaki, gyros, baklava, sundaes and ouzo sorbet. Prices range from $1 for drinks to $10 for a Greek plate. Greek beer will also be available. The marketplace will include various crafts such as pottery, worry beads and festival hats and totes.
Admission for 12 years and older is $3. Kids and military are free. Wear a toga and admission is $1.
