Tame your inner geek at the annual Honolulu Mini Maker Faire, featuring local inventors and creative minds. The event is from noon to 5 p.m., May 9, at Iolani School.
Expect a drone-flying competition, 3D-printed objects, soldering and Raspberry Pi workshops, a paper airplane design contest, unique crafts and DIY robots.
The event is sponsored by the Hawaii Technology Development Corp. and mimics the Bay's Area's national Maker Faire.
