International Dot Day is named for the classic storybook, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds. This book shares the story of a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after a caring teacher challenges her to make her mark. More than 10 million people in 170 countries will observe International Dot Day, a celebration of creativity, confidence, and self-discovery.
Following storytime featuring The Dot and other books, various crafts and art activities will allow kids to make their own marks on artwork to take home.
