Marine Debris Art Workshop with The Green House

Students will learn the fundamentals of ceramic sculpture to create their own monstrous masterpieces. They'll be taught hand-building techniques as well as how to to use tools to build different kinds of monsters. Then they'll decorate their creations using colorful underglazes. Upon completion, pieces will be collected, fired and returned at a later date. Art instructor Garid Chapman is a ceramics artist who specializes in making creatures inspired by biology and animation.
