Movie Screening: Ratatouille at Hawaii Kai Public Library
This G-rated movie is sponsored by The Friends of the Hawaii Kai Public Library and will be presented in the first floor meeting room. Seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Remy, a scrawny sewer rat, dreams of becoming a great chef. He realizes that being a rodent in a culinary profession can be problematic, but Remy is convinced that he has what it takes to be a chef. As fate would have it, Remy is situated in the sewers right beneath an elegant restaurant in Paris made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Soon Remy's cooking talents are inadvertently discovered by a boy named Linguini. Together they create delicious food, but they are in constant fear that somebody will discover that a rat has been in the kitchen.
