Music Night for Ryan’s Light
Before his death from cancer in 2011, six-year-old Ryan Wagner loved listening to the soothing sounds of Hawaiian music every night. His parents Joshua and Anita Wagner established the Ryan's Light foundation to raise funds to provide music therapy and ukulele to pediatric oncology children at Tripler Army Medical Center, where their son was treated. Music brought a smile to his face, Anita Wagner says. Listening to music from Henry Kapono, John Cruz, Manoa DNA and Kamuela Kahoano at this $25 per person fundraiser could bring a smile to your face, too (plus, it's for a good cause).
