"Oliver" at Punahou School

An all-school performance presented by Punahou students, Lionel Bart's musical, based on Charles Dickens' “Oliver Twist,” tells the story of a boy, Oliver, who was born on the streets and raised in an orphanage. One day, when Oliver asks for more food, he is cast out of the orphanage and sold to an undertaker. He escapes, joins a pack of ruffians and eventually picks the pocket of the man who will become his savior and help him discover his real family. The cast includes Punahou School students in grades 5 - 12. The special all-school production is part of the school's celebration of its 175th anniversary.
