Pilots, ground crew, military volunteers and women pilots will commemorate Women in Aviation and Women’s History Month. Guests will meet and talk with aviators who share their love of aviation. Wally Funk, one of the Mercury 13 (women who trained for the space program in the early ‘60s but were not allowed to participate) and the first female air safety investigator for the NTSB, will be the featured speaker. The Wally Funk presentation will be in the Museum Theater at 1:30 p.m. The event is free to Museum members and free with Museum admission.
