Sunset Mele on the Rooftop

Enjoy an evening of entertainment for the whole family at the Hawaii Convention Center's (HCC) free, monthly entertainment series. Residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment sponsored by Securitas.

This month's edition features live performances by Kapena and The Easies, along with delicious culinary creations and one-of-a-kind handmade crafts at the Sunset Mele Market Place. There will also be a special screening of “Soul Surfer” beginning at 7:30 p.m. in HCC's Kalakaua Ballroom.

The schedule of activities for the evening is as follows:

4:30 p.m. Doors open, event begins, featuring the Sunset Mele Market Place food booths, artisans and more

5 p.m. Live entertainment by The Easies

6 p.m. Live entertainment by Kapena

7:30 p.m. Screening of the feature film, “Soul Surfer”

9 p.m. Event pau (finished)

Admission to “Sunset Mele on the Rooftop” is free. Parking at the Hawaii Convention Center for the event is $5 per vehicle. Outside food, beverages and coolers will not be allowed, however, guests are welcome to bring low beach chairs, mats and blankets.
