Waimea Whirl Opens at Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii
Best of HONOLULU Family winner (three years running!) launches its first new ride in six years. The Waimea Whirl sends two people swirling on a raft then shooting out of a 30-foot drop into a splash pool. The Waimea Whirl experience lasts for 30 seconds and is for riders 48 inches and taller.
The new thrill ride will be opened in two rounds.
Friday, May 8 - Season Pass holders will get the first chance to try the ride with a Season Pass pau hana. 7-9 p.m.
Saturday, May 9 - Opens to the public at 10:30 a.m.
