Second Saturday at the O‘ahu Urban Garden
Pick up a few roses for your valentine and make sure to play in the children’s garden at the monthly Saturday opening of this garden in Pearl City. The annual plant sale offers a wide variety of food and floral pots to take home. But one of the biggest draws is the Honolulu Rose Society’s potted-rose sale which includes exclusive varieties selected by the group’s experts. If you’ve never visited the urban garden, stop by the gazebo, look for metal centipede and other creatures made from growing vines and leaves, and make sure to walk through the butterfly tunnel. Bring insect repellent and arrive early, parking in the lot fills up quickly.
